Being a small boutique recruitment firm, we are lucky enough to have all the right people together that share the same values.
However, as we continue to expand, we quickly realised it’s crucial to solidify what those values are for onboarding new talent. We also wanted to create a set of guidelines for those days that just speed right on by, when you’re completely engulfed into your work, so that we are reminded of who we are and what we strive to achieve as a business.
Instead of hiring a big fancy company to come in and tell us how we are doing, what we are missing or what we should write, we took matters into our hands and got together as a team to discuss what makes us work, why we’re here at B&K, and what we could improve on. For us, that’s how you know the team actually believes in the purpose; when they all take time to sit together and although we are from all different walks of life, we find comfort in knowing we share the same values and beliefs at a place we commit to 9-5/ 5 days a week.
