Our client is a fast growing and innovative company in the wealth management industry. The business develops technology solutions covering the end-to-end wealth management process, from client engagement tools, to preparing financial advice, to investment platform solutions. The core offerings include an investment platform (super and investment capability) and financial planning software.


Due to client growth, the business is looking for an Account Manager, to join the Customer Success Team, reporting to Manager – Account Management Team. The Account Manager (AM) is a vital member of the Customer Success team, responsible for delivering exceptional operational and administrative support to investment advisers using the wealth management platform and services. The AM ensures advisers can efficiently manage investor portfolios and resolve functional queries, enabling them to focus on client relationships. This role combines technical proficiency, problem-solving, and client service excellence to drive adviser satisfaction.


As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operational aspect of Investment Advisers, client portfolios. Delivering excellent service and efficiently addressing adviser needs, you will act as the primary point to resolve Advisers operational queries relating to their clients’ portfolios. You will be handling portfolio related queries and ensuring service excellence through effective collaboration with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities


The Account Manager role core objectives will include;

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with Advisers, acting as their trusted operational service provider.
• Manage support queues and ensure that support requests and queries are actioned or responded to promptly.
• Oversee the updating and management of portfolio and investment data.
• Ensure accurate and timely generation and distribution of portfolio reports.
• Complete daily control-reports to ensure portfolio data integrity.
• Work with the Relationship Manager to identify and improve process or procedures that deliver an improved outcome to Advisers and the business.

Specific Duties include;


• Portfolio Maintenance
o Cash / trade matching
o Managed asset creation and maintenance
o Performance query management
o Portfolio updates/incl capital calls
o Term Deposit Maintenance
o Quality Assurance/Control of all portfolio updates
• Monthly / Quarterly Adviser reporting
• Tax Reporting
o Report generation
o Advisor / accountant queries
• Portfolio Return Variation reporting
• Workflow & Support Case Management
• Management of outsourced (SBS) personnel
o Workload allocation
o Exception management
o Creation / Enhancement of procedures
o Training / Upskilling
• Advisor Call’s & Queries
o Ad-hoc support calls
o Regular Adviser meetings


Qualifications


• Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
Experience
• +1 year Account Management experience, preferably within wealth management (investment management, investment platforms, financial advice, stockbroking)
Knowledge
• Wealth management industry landscape.
