Working with a growing Health Insurer with a captive membership, we are recruiting for an Actuarial Analyst to support the Actuarial team across a broad range of functions.

The Actuarial Analyst is responsible for:

  • Monthly Reserving, Capital calculations, Pricing, Product costing.
  • Ownership of a projection model.
  • Analysing trends (specifically claims) and drawing out insights that enable commercial decision making.

Initially, you will be given ample training to ensure you’re up to speed and confident in taking on these responsibilities.

Attributes of the right person:

  • 1 – 2 years experience working in an Actuarial function.
  • Whilst prior Health Insurance experience would be ideal, we are completely open to prior experience – Life Insurance or General Insurance ideally.
  • Individuals who enjoy variety and are seeking ownership.
  • Experience with Excel; Experience with R would be advantageous.
  • Individuals who want to work in a team-based environment and who enjoy engaging with stakeholders.
