We’re partnering with a market leading reinsurer that is looking to bring on a Claims Administrator on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be joining a collaborative and high performing claims team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in life insurance or superannuation to step into a varied role. The position offers exposure to end to end claims support, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement within a specialist environment.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality claims services across a range of retail life insurance products. Working closely with an experienced team, you will contribute to both day to day operations and broader initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall claims experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer life insurance claims across products including Life, TPD, Income Protection, and Critical Illness
- Provide high quality support to the claims team and ensure service standards and compliance obligations are met
- Accurately process claims related tasks and documentation in a timely manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, advisers, and customers
- Contribute to process improvements and the development of best practice claims procedures
- Support the wider team in achieving performance objectives and business goals
About You
- 2 to 5 years experience in claims administration or client services within life insurance or superannuation
- Understanding of Life, TPD, Income Protection, and Critical Illness products
- Someone who enjoys getting involved in the work and is comfortable working autonomously
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in developing within the claims space
