They are seeking a Fund Operations Associate to support operations across the Australian, Cayman Islands and UK funds. This role is full-time and based in the Sydney CBD office. You will be working alongside the Fund Operations Manager and Head of Operations and Finance, and play a key role in supporting business critical activities.
Role responsibilities include:
Fund Operations - 80%
- Trade lifecycle management
- Unit pricing reviews
- Unit registry oversight
- Due diligence questionnaires
- Monthly reporting to investors, consultants, platforms and research houses
- Payment processing
- Management fee reviews and rebate administration
- Daily ASX monitoring and disclosures
- Wholesale certificate register updates
- Responding to investor queries
- Driving process and risk improvements across the fund operations functions
- Office administration support
- Support year end process and regulatory reporting
- Maintenance of policy and procedures
Business Development Assistance - 20%
- Managing printing and postage of annual letter mailout
- Preparation of monthly reports for distribution to investors
- Maintenance of the website with updated fund information
- Preparing competitor analysis reports
- Supporting the distribution team with ad-hoc requests
Key skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
- Experience in fund administration, fund accounting, or investment operations is desirable but not essential
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in working with AI tools
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career in fund operations
